Step 3: Draw
Waiting for your list · 1 winner
This site does not log in to X (Twitter) and does not fetch comments by itself: you copy the list and paste it. See how to copy the comments.
How do you pick a winner for a Twitter (X) giveaway?
Collect the handles that entered, from the replies or from your notifications, paste them in the box above one per line and press Draw. You can accept only replies that mention your account or use your hashtag, keep one entry per account and share a link that repeats the result.
Nothing you paste leaves your device, and there is no account to create. If you want the rules of the giveaway ready before you post, use the giveaway rules generator.
How to collect the entries on X
This site does not read the comments for you. It takes about a minute to copy them.
Step 1: Ask people to mention you
X itself recommends it: posts that mention you show up in your notifications, while a public search may not show every post.
Step 2: Open the replies or your mentions
On a computer, open the giveaway post and scroll through all the replies, or open the mentions in your notifications for the giveaway period.
Step 3: Copy the handles
Select the replies and copy them, or write one line per entry: the @handle, followed by the text of the reply if you want to filter by hashtag.
Step 4: Paste and check
Paste in step 1. Use “One per line” for a tidy list of handles, or “Copied comments” for text copied straight from the page, and check how it was read.

Ways to enter a giveaway on X (Twitter), and how to draw each one
Pick the line that matches your giveaway and set step 2 the same way.
| How people enter | Where the list comes from | Filters in step 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to the post | Copy the replies, or list the handles one per line. | One entry per person. |
| Reply mentioning your account | Copy the replies or your mentions. | Must contain a word: your @handle. |
| Post with a hashtag | List the handles of the posts found with the hashtag, with the text of the post. | Must contain a word or #hashtag. One entry per person. |
| Repost or like | Write down the handles shown in the lists of the post, one per line. | Remove duplicate lines. |
| Followers | We know no simple way to copy a full follower list. Use replies as the entry. | Not applicable. |
Example: 6 replies, must mention the host, 2 winners
A full draw written out. Paste the same list with the same seed on the verify page and you get the same names.
Six replies were listed, one per line.
@harbor_cat did not mention @northwind_tea: 1 reply out. Capital letters do not matter, so “@Northwind_Tea” counts.
@sol_reads replied twice and each account enters once: the second reply is out.
Four accounts take part: sol_reads, quinn_dev, mika_o and delta_june. Two are drawn, and the same account cannot come out twice.
Seed used: 0f1e2d3c4b5a69788796a5b4c3d2e1f0
Winners: mika_o and delta_june · Code GT-79ADD-F4D15
Out of 6 comments, 4 entries went into the draw. The filters run in a fixed order: accounts that cannot win, the required word, the tagged friends, repeated lines and, last, extra entries of the same person.
The code GT-79ADD-F4D15 ties together the list, the seed and the names drawn. If one comment is added or removed, or a name is swapped, the code no longer matches. That is what lets someone else check your result.
X (Twitter) giveaway rules: what the platform asks for
Read on the platform’s own page. The link and the date are under each card.
X Help Center, Guidelines for Promotions on X
- Include a rule saying that anyone found using multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.
- Do not encourage posting the same update over and over ("whoever reposts this the most wins"). X recommends a rule that multiple entries in a single day will not be accepted.
- Ask people to mention you in their post, so every entry shows up in your notifications; a public search may not show them all.
- Hashtags must be relevant to the post they are added to.
- Follow the X Rules and all applicable laws; compliance is your responsibility.
“Please be sure to include a rule stating that anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.”

What it means for your giveaway
- X asks you to include a rule saying that anyone found using multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.
- Do not reward repeating the same post (“whoever reposts this the most wins”). X recommends a rule that multiple entries in a single day will not be accepted: “One entry per person” does that in the draw.
- Hashtags must be relevant to the post. Asking people to add your hashtag to unrelated posts may make them break the X Rules.
Frequently asked questions
Is this Twitter giveaway picker free?
Yes. It is free, with no sign-up and no limit on the number of entries you paste. The draw runs in your browser.
Do I have to connect my X account?
No. The site never asks for your password or for access to your account, and it does not read comments by itself. You copy the comments and paste them, and the draw runs in your browser.
Can it pick from reposts or likes automatically?
No. The site does not read data from X. If reposts or likes are the entry, write down the handles shown in the lists of the post and paste them, one per line.
Why does X suggest asking people to mention me?
Because mentions appear in your notifications. X’s guidelines warn that a public search may not show every post and that some accounts are filtered from search, so entries could be missed.
How do I keep people from entering many times?
Turn on “One entry per person” and say in your rules that multiple entries in a single day are not accepted and that people using multiple accounts are ineligible, as X recommends.
Can I draw several winners at once?
Yes, up to 200 names in one draw, counting winners and backups. With “One entry per person” on, no account is drawn twice.
What are the X rules for giveaways?
X’s Guidelines for Promotions ask you to discourage multiple accounts, to discourage posting the same update repeatedly, to ask people to mention you so you see every entry, to use only relevant hashtags, and to follow the X Rules and the law.
How do I prove the draw was fair?
Reply to your giveaway post with the winner, the verification code and the proof link. With the same list of entries, anyone gets the same winners and the same code.
